Baked Brie Pepperoni Bruschetta

... or maybe it's a pepperoni pizza.


Takes less than 20 minutes, super easy to make... and if you've got kids, it's almost guaranteed they'll love it.

Ingredients

As pictured

Substitute

Sourdough bread, sliced

Hard crusted bread slices

Tomato sauce

Tomato puree, pizza sauce, red spaghetti sauce... ketchup (tip: mix with olive-oil roasted minced garlic for a touch of "gourmet")

Pepperoni slices

Any protein

Brie cheese chunks

Any cheese

Dried Italian seasoning

Oregano, basil, rosemary, etc.

Coarse ground black pepper

... pepper?

Ground dried red peppers

Tip: mix ketchup with olive-oil roasted minced garlic for a touch of "gourmet"

Directions


STEP 1 | Mix minced garlic and tomato sauce, spread it on the sourdough bread slices

STEP 2 | Lay on brie cheese and pepperoni slices on top

STEP 3 | Sprinkle on black pepper, dried red pepper and Italian seasoning

STEP 4 | Put the prepared bruschetta on an oven pan or aluminum foil and set it on top half of the oven. Set oven to broil. It's done... when it looks done (~3-5 minutes). See below.
